About us....
We
provide 24 hour coverage on an all volunteer basis. Engine 93 maintains
about 15 active members. Most of our firefighters are NFPA Firefighter
I or II certified. Annually, we respond to nearly 300 incidents in
Old Forge and neighboring communities.
Our
all volunteer membership is a dedicated one. 93 Engine is one of two engine
companies that serves the Borough of Old Forge, Lackawanna County. We share
quarters with our sister company, Ladder 93, on Main Street in Old Forge.
Companies
agree on SOG's
Working
together on a regular basis, engine companies in Lower Lackawanna County
have agreed on engine company assignments and responsibilities.
