PURPOSE: To provide a suggested, standard and consistent operating guideline to aid Emergency Responders in the discharge of their duties when responding to Vehicle Rescue Type situations.

Objectives Engine Co.; Vehicle Rescue Situation

Operator of the engine company is responsible for the operation and placement of the apparatus and is responsible for all the necessary pump connections, operation of the pump, lighting, etc. 

Engine Crew (wearing SCBA) is responsible for providing charged hose line called for by the Engine Officer to protect crew and patients if entrapment has occurred.  If no entrapment, ABC extinguisher to be used.
