Apparatus over the years
The Engine Company....

Over the years we've tried to stay in step with technology. Currently Engine 93 is a Emergency One Hush custom pumper.

This engine was purchased new in 1990. In 1997, we made significant improvements to it by raising the roof on the cab, reconfiguring the interior seating, and adding a Class A foam system. The apparatus was totally repainted and matches Ladder 93.

Below is our 1985 FMC pumper. An FMC body
on a  a Kenworth chassis, we ran it for five years.
It was sold to nearby Dupont Hose Company and
still runs as Engine 85.

Below, our 1968 Ward LaFrance fire engine severd us well until it was replaced in 1985. It was sold to Hobbie Fire
Company in Luzerne County.

Rescue Services.....

We once provided rescue services. In 1991, elected to specialize in Engine Company services rather than trying to provide both rescue and engine company operations.

Our 1988 Saulsbury Rescue was sold to Archbald Ambulance and Rescue, and now runs in Lackawanna County as Rescue 21.

Above, this mini-pumper served dual purpose. It ran as a mini-pumper and as a light rescue. In 1988 it was sold to Jefferson Township Volunteer Fire Company in Lackwannna County and ran as Rescue 29.

Above, our original rescue, was placed in service in 1975. Eventually it was sold to a local ambulance service and now is out of service.

The Squad

To the right is Squad 93. Originally, it was Engine 274 from FDNY  in the Queens. This piece was rehabbed and ran as a squad for a few years. In 1999, it was sold to a fire department in Texas.
